UNICEF Indonesia wants to teach the whole community that menstrual hygiene is a general knowledge that must be understood by both men and women. Having knowledge about sex and reproductive health about Menstrual hygiene is a component of individual hygiene
which is important in a woman’s health status
Unicef Indonesia saw the need for both woman and man to know
about menstrual hygiene. Unfortunately with how Indonesian society is, menstruation is considered something that shouldn’t be talked about in public.
We realized that knowledge about menstrual hygiene should start at an early age. So we went to one of the schools in Jakarta to see what students think about menstruation.
We then compiled all their opinions in one video and uploaded it to Youtube. The result? More than 14.000 views.
