In early 2020 a global pandemic happened. This pandemic not only caused a lot of loss, but also forced people to social distance. One of the things made not possible by this pandemic is homecoming to celebrate Ramadan. BNI wanted to celebrate Ramadan while still be in accordance with the government’s mandate to not go homecoming.

The Challenge

In early 2020 a global pandemic happened. This pandemic not only caused a lot of loss, but also forced people to social distance. One of the things made not possible by this pandemic is homecoming to celebrate Ramadan. BNI wanted to celebrate Ramadan while still be in accordance with the government’s mandate to not go homecoming.

Our Solution

We worked with BNI to create a video to commemorate Ramadan. Due to the pandemic, we had to film the video with a very limited crew, while also shooting it at the talent’s home. To give the feeling of Ramadan while still being remote, the video shows a diverse cast of talents, each represents a target demographic. Every talent in the video was shown to be giving each other presents, as is the tradition around Ramadan. This treatment gave the video a homey and nostalgia feeling.

What is the result?

The finished video was played on national TV, and also uploaded to Youtube with the hashtag #AntarkanSemangat.
